Every trading day moves west: Asia, then Europe, then the US. For a trader in Estonia, the day actually starts overnight. Below is the full session map in Tallinn time, the way IndexNexa renders it on its EEST-native terminal.
| Session | Exchange | Tallinn Time |
|---|---|---|
| Asia (morning) | Tokyo (TSE) | 03:00 – 09:00 (with a lunch break 06:30 – 07:30) |
| Asia | Hong Kong / Shanghai | 04:30 – 10:30 |
| Europe | London (LSE) | 10:00 – 18:30 |
| Europe | Frankfurt (Xetra) | 10:00 – 18:30 |
| US premarket | NYSE / Nasdaq | 11:30 – 16:30 |
| US regular | NYSE / Nasdaq | 16:30 – 23:00 |
| US after-hours | NYSE / Nasdaq | 23:00 – 03:00 |
Notes: London and Frankfurt use the same offset from Tallinn year-round (both switch to summer time together). Tokyo does not observe daylight saving, so its Tallinn hours shift by one hour in winter (02:00 – 08:00 EET).
Europe: London and Frankfurt trade 10:00–18:30 Tallinn time, covering almost the entire Estonian workday. The US session only starts at 16:30.
It depends what you trade. European stocks are most liquid during your workday; US stocks trade their full regular session in your evening, 16:30–23:00.
No — forex runs 24/5, opening Sunday 23:00 EEST and closing Friday 23:00 EEST, with a daily liquidity pause at 23:00–24:00 (rollover). IndexNexa tracks EURUSD and gold around the clock.
IndexNexa converts every global session, countdown and opening bell to your timezone (default Europe/Tallinn), with a live session clock, Volatility Radar and headline feed.
